TRAINING INSTITUTE FOR CLINICIANS
TRAINING SERVICES
For individualized cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) training, we offer clinicians the opportunity to engage in 1:1 Consultation. If you’re preparing for certification through the Academy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (A-CBT) or the Beck Institute, we're here to provide tape-review and tailored guidance to help you succeed. As a member of the credentialing committee for the Academy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapies and a faculty member at the Beck Institute, Noah brings a wealth of experience and insight to guide you through the certification process.

Supervision and Certification Preparation
- Session Length: Our supervision sessions will be 55-60 minutes each, giving us plenty of time to dive deep into your cases and skills.
- Tape Review: If you're aiming to become certified in Trial-Based Cognitive Therapy (TBCT), achieve Diplomate status with the Academy of Cognitive Therapy, or become a Certified Trainer/Consultant, we highly recommend sending a recording of a therapy session. We'll listen to it carefully outside of our meeting and provide a thorough rating using the Cognitive Therapy Rating Scale (CTRS).
- Case Write-Up: We also suggest submitting your case write-up for review. We'll rate it using the Case Review Rating Scale (CRRS), so you can feel confident that your work meets the standards before you submit it for accreditation.
- Proficiency Ratings: We’ll regularly assess your proficiency using the CTRS, and we’ll share scores for key sessions throughout our work together. If you achieve ratings of 40 or above on the CTRS for your top three sessions, you’ll earn a Certificate of Completion indicating proficiency. If you don’t reach proficiency, you’ll still receive a letter of participation, reflecting the progress you’ve made.
- Client Permission: It’s important to obtain written permission from any clients you plan to record for supervision. Please make sure recordings are sent securely—we recommend using Hightail.
- Feedback Encouraged: Your feedback is incredibly valuable. We invite you to share what’s working well in our sessions and what you’d like to see done differently. Together, we can make this experience as enriching as possible.
