MESSAGE TO CLIENTS
Hi! I’m Victoria. I am passionate about working with individuals and couples who are facing relationship issues, adjusting to life transitions, and healing from anxiety and depression. I have a special focus on people dealing with insecure attachment from interpersonal trauma due to inconsistent parenting, abuse or neglect, or betrayals in childhood or adulthood. If you notice unhealthy patterns in your relationships, have difficulty regulating or expressing your emotions, or struggle to feel secure and confident in yourself, I would love to help you. We'll work together to first understand your struggles with a lens of curiosity rather than judgment. We all have good reasons behind the strategies we use to seek relief, comfort, or connection, even when those strategies aren't working well for us. We’ll then use that same openness to experiment with more effective ways of relating to your emotions and connecting with others so that you can create the life that you want. My style is integrative, incorporating elements of attachment-based therapy, parts work, and cognitive-behavioral models. Mindfulness is the foundation of my approach, and I incorporate it into all of my work. My focus isn't only on reducing your symptoms, but on helping you create long-lasting changes to how you relate to yourself and others. Through our work, you will become more mindful and in control of your emotions, develop greater self-compassion, and possess the tools to create and maintain healthy relationships.
